The annual chess club dinner
will as usual be held at Hacketts in Witney -
the date for your diaries is
Friday 10 May
(I suggest 7.00ish arrival for 7.30 sit-down).
Mr K has volunteered (been volunteered?) to be
master of ceremonies as usual.
Hopefully as many of you will
be able to come as possible - and of course
spouses, partners, children etc are as always
more than welcome. See the menu (£14.95 two
courses/£17.95 three courses, so the same price
as last year - thank you Dave!), and should be
grateful if you could let me have your choices
as soon as you can so that the restaurant can
get everything sorted out beforehand. There is
also a junior-friendly selection of main courses
(see below), with children choosing off the main
menu for starters and/or desserts if they want.
The price for this option is £6.95 main
course/£8.95 two courses/£11.95 three courses.
